Fuzzy Logic is probably the most ambitious jazz group currently based in Ireland.

With 10 of the finest young Jazz and Classical artists from Ireland and England coming together to perform the music of composer Dylan Rynhart.

Since it was formed in 2002, this hard working group that has developed a style of their own, setting them apart from most Jazz bands with the flexibility and sonority of their unique instrumentation, and the orchestral harmony and rhythmic Balkan influence obvious in their music. Comparisons have been made to the music of Thad Jones and Kenny Wheeler.

The group has several capable soloists in Blackmore, Roth, Tobin, and Dylan Rynhart, who were impressive in subordinating their improvisations not only to the wry, surprising and constantly changing backdrop of the music, but also to its emotional climate, which has a gentle, quirky beauty of its own.

The band is joined here by visiting guest Tom Arthurs on trumpet and flugelhorn. A musician who has been compared to the young Kenny Wheeler, Arthurs is a member of the celebrated F-ire Collective, and has twice been nominated for the British Jazz Rising Star award.

They will present a programme of new work of band leader Dylan Rynhart, one of the leading young composers working in Irish jazz.

"Rynhart's Deft arranging for this unusual line-up particularly impresses"- Sunday Tribune

"It's adept, constantly engaging, full of colour and packed with incident" - Irish Times
