A sizzling hot club matinee with one of the most exciting new bands on the Irish scene is promised for Bray Jazz Festival’s opening free afternoon matinee, this year.
The Hot Club of Dublin deliver heart stopping and vivacious gypsy jazz, their repertorie the highly charged swing music of Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grapelli and CafÈ Orchestra. The Gilligan Brothers close harmony singing combines brilliantly with the dazzling violin playing of Oleg Ponomarev.
The group are sure to be an in demand act this summer, following the release of their debut CD in April ‘Fin Voyage’.
