Soweto Kinch’s successful fusion of straight-ahead jazz and hip hop has led to two MOBO awards, three BBC Jazz Awards and a nomination for the Mercury Music Prize.

The acclaimed British performer, who was a huge hit when he played Bray Jazz Festival's world stage a few years ago, teams up here with 24 year old drummer David Lyttle, whose driving approach to jazz that swings hard has won him many admirers.

Lyttle plays Bray Jazz fresh from a series of recent high-profile collaborations with saxophone giants Greg Osby, Jean Toussaint and Tommy Smith.

He has completed this exciting new trio alongside the British alto sax star by calling on the services of Australian bassist Damian Evans.

Based in Ireland since the late-nineties, Australian bassist Damian Evans has worked with US players such as Bill Carrothers and Jonathan Kreisberg, as well as leading Irish musicians Louis Stewart and Honor Heffernan.
