Trilogue is a new chamber group featuring the voice of Swiss jazz singer Sarah Beuchi, Japanese contemporary classical pianist Izumi Kimura and Irish jazz bass player and composer Ronan Guilfoyle.
Over the past twenty years the lines between jazz and contemporary composed music have blurred, opening up new possibilities for both to find fresh inspiration and break fertile new ground.
Trilogue exploits these new possibilities to the full, utilising the virtuosity of its players to present a repertoire that includes newly composed pieces, together with music by Bela Bartok, Georgi Ligeti and J. S. Bach. |
