About Bray Jazz Festival
Bray Jazz Festival is happy to be back for its 12th year in 2011.

Started in the Millennium Year, the festival enjoys a reputation for showcasing of contemporary musical improvisers from both at home and abroad, and this year will be no exception.

You'ill notice that we've had to scale back a little on our programme this year - an inevitable consequence of the economic downturn and the consequent squeeze on arts funding and sponsorship opportunities.

That said, we believe that while volume might have been hit, the quality of this year's roster of performers is as strong as ever. We are pleased of our billing as "one of the very best small jazz festivals in Europe" (courtesy of All About Jazz), and intent to live up to it again, this year.

Thanks, as ever to the concert goers who come out and support us each year, to our loyal sponsors, without whom we couldn't function. And thanks also to the many service providers, technicians, hoteliers, bar owners, drivers, ground crew and of course musicians - who make Bray Jazz happen every year.
