| | | DAVE DOUGLAS - MOONSHINE | The brilliant American composer/trumpeter Dave Douglas recently released 'Moonshine', a new album based upon recordings of his group's performance at Bray Jazz Festival, in 2007.
Dave was thrilled with the project 'Keystone' and their European tour, and when they arrived in Bray at the end of more than a month of European dates, he was anxious to capture the chemistry and energy of the group, for posterity.
Courtesy of festival partners RTE LyricFM, who were recording the Bray Jazz show for broadcast, Dave secured recordings of the concert. He took them back into the studio to touch up, and the result is 'Moonshine', a fantastic release from a band at the height of its powers.
Moonshine' is available to download and buy through Dave Douglas' 'Greenleaf Music web-site HERE priced at $10 and $20 respectively. With foreign currency exchange rates being what they are, that's a snip folks ! |
