interskalacticHailed as “the future of ska in Ireland”, Interskalactic have become a favourite on the Irish live music scene.

Adding their modern big band style to first-wave, old-school Jamaican ska, Interskalactic have brought this infectious music live and kicking to 21st century audiences.

Interskalactic know how to keep a dance floor busy. Their upbeat set features their own originals, as well as classic ska from bands such as Prince Buster and The Skatalites.

Felton Evans Del Val Trio (Spain/Ireland)

evansfeltonThe great Catalan drummer Gonzalo del Val teams up with two Irish-based players to comprise an exciting new piano trio on the Irish jazz scene.

Del Val joins Australian bassist Damien Evans and Irish pianist Greg Felton in the group, and will play a set of originals and other works.

Gonzalo del Val has produced a number of acclaimed albums, his latest Koiné featuring on several 'best of' lists in his native Spain, last year.

Damian Evans is a double bassist from Perth, Australia who has been a major contributor to jazz in Ireland since his arrival to these shores, 20 years ago, while Greg Felton is widely regarded as one of the best young pianist/composers to emerge in Ireland in recent years.

Planet Parade

planetparadePlanet Parade released their debut album late last year, and were warmly received across the country when they toured with Booka Brass Band following its release.

Created by Kildare duo Michael Hopkins and Andrew Lloyd, Planet Parade has since evolved into a tight-knit six-piece outfit that they present live today.

CEO Experiment (with Michael Buckley)

ceoexperiment 1CEO Experiment are a highly polished piano trio who epitomize the international nature of Ireland’s contemporary jazz community.

The trio includes musicians who have come to Ireland from Peru, Venezuela and Hungary respectively, joined here by Ireland’s leading jazz saxophonist, Michael Buckley.

The band’s critically acclaimed debut album earned a four-star rating from The Irish Times, last year.


megaconeMegacone are a five-piece instrumental band from Dublin.

Best known for their triple lead guitars and energetic live show, Megacone combine strong, memorable melodies with addictive grooves and ambient soundscapes.

This has earned them a loyal fan base and transformed them into a firm festival favourite.

The band signed a record deal with Dimestore Records in late 2015 and promptly released 'Absolute Magnitude EP' to a sell out crowd in Whelan's, Dublin. The EP landed the band a full page spread in Prog Magazine (UK).
