Free Jazz Showcase for inaugural Creative Ireland programme

ceoexperiment 1Bray Jazz has a little surprise up our sleeves that we're happy to share with you here!!

We're proud to be able to bring jazz to the inaugural 'Creative Ireland' programme, and will be staging a free to attend double-bill concert at 'The Well' (formerly St. Paul's Church) at Main Street on Easter Bank Holiday Monday evening, 17th April next.

The gig will feature performances of 'Stella Sings Ella', a tribute to mark the centenary of the first lady of jazz, Ella Fitzgerald by singer Stella Bass and guitarist Hugh Buckley, and an appearance by great Irish sax player Michael Buckley with one of our finest piano trio's, The CEO Experiment.

Creative Ireland is a Government initiative. It is a planned five year programme of activities to celebrate the country's rich cultural heritage, and will see events taking place across the country for the inaugural roll out on Easter Monday.

The upcoming Bray Jazz show is being supported by Creative Ireland and Wicklow County Council.
