Bray Jazz Festival is a Limited Company overseen by a Board of Directors. This board includes representatives from local business, professions, and the community. 

The company shareholders are George Jacob, a communications professional who established the event in 2000, and Sean Ashmore, the CEO of Classic Hits 4FM, and who is a Director of East Coast FM.  No dividends are paid to directors of the company.  

The festival’s elected directors also include Conor Duggan, businessman, Paul O’Shea, barrister-at-law, and Mary Kelly Borgatta, former director of Performing Arts at Bray Institute of Further Education.

The company is taking steps in 2019 to change its legal status from being a company limited by shares (currently) to becoming a company limited by guarantee.
